Empower elementary students with vital emotion regulation, coping, interpersonal, and decision- making skills through DBT STEPS-E, a comprehensive social-emotional learning program. This program seamlessly integrates into general education classrooms, allowing students to acquire emotional language and strategies alongside traditional subjects. Its flexible design also supports implementation in special education and across multiple tiers. The manual provides two developmentally appropriate curricula for K-2 and 3-5 grade bands, offering teaching scripts, student examples, handouts, and engaging worksheets. Aligned with the CASEL framework, DBT STEPS-E lessons enhance academic learning and support a “whole child” educational approach.

Please note the DBT STEPS-E: Skills Training for Emotional Problem Solving in Grades K-5 curriculum is required for this training. The manual can be ordered directly through Guilford Press (for single manual, bundle deal, and bulk orders) or Amazon (for smaller orders).
